When your dreams come true

Hey guys! here we go again....today I am writing about last Sunday that I volounteer(again) for a presentation of a collection to the buyers during the bridal market week in New York City!
I was working for Claire Pettibone, an amazing designer for brides that I had the chance to meet and talk with her. She is an amazing and really inspiring woman! Basically I had to welcome the buyers to the presentation of the collection and make them comfortable during it. I also had the chance to help Angela, Claire's assistent, to deal with two Italian buyers.....I was doing the translation for them!
I have to say that was pretty cool! This wasn't my first time working for her, but I have to say that probably is one of my favorite experience, since I had the chance to learn how they deal with people and try to sell their product to the public!
I don't even have enough word to say how much I am happy, because yes I have the feeling that in New York City everything is possible and your dreams can really come true!

Ciao ragazzi! eccoci qui di nuovo....oggi vi parlo di domenica scorsa, dove ho lavorato (di nuovo) come volontaria per una presentazione della collazione di abiti da sposa durante la settimana del "mercato della sposa" a New York City!
Ho lavorato per Clair Pettibone, un fantastica stilista per abiti da sposa che ho avuto la fortuna di conoscere e parlarci. E' una donna fantastica!
Praticamente dovevo accogliere gli acquirenti alla presentazione della collezione e metterli a loro agio. Ho avuto anche l'occasione di aiutare Angela, l'assistente di Claire, a contrattare con due compratori italiani.... In pratica ho fatto da traduttore simultaneo! Devo dire che è stato parecchio figo! :) Questa non è stata la prima volta che ho lavorato con Claire e il suo team, ma devo dire che probabilmente è stata una delle mie esperienze preferite, dato che ho avuto l'occasione di imparare e vedere come si svolge la presentazione e contrattazione dei loro prodotti con il pubblico durante la vendita!
non ho abbastanza parole per descrivere quanto sono contenta, perchè si ho proprio la sensazione che a New York City tutto è possibile e i sogni possono davvero diventare realtà!
